Schwartz is good for at least one loss a year all on his own. Impressive, not since Marty Morningweg could you say that. I want him fired but Barnwell's right we'll have to lose a lot and miss the playoffs which I don't want. Maybe Schwartz could snap and run around the field in a nude body suit after we win our first playoff game in twenty years and we both could be happy.

IMO, if they miss the playoffs after starting 6-3 in a division that is weaker than originally thought (mainly due to injuries)...everyone should lose their jobs, from Schwartz and his staff all the way up to Mayhew. If they miss the playoffs and everyone sticks around, that tells me the Fords are OK with mediocrity, which wouldn't at all surprise me.

Wouldn't suprise me either.

The Lions will probably finish no worse than 8-8, but if they were to lose all of their remaining games (unlikely) then perhaps the entire coaching staff or at least the DC and/or OC could be fired. They "should" @ a minimum, beat the Bucs, Titans and @ Vikings, winding up w/a 9-7 record... but when posting about the Lions playing future opponents that they should defeat, but instead do not, can make any prognosticator look foolish...dlol.

The fact that they have only one remaining game on the road that will be played outdoors vs @ Eagles on 12/8, as the weather becomes colder and closer to winter, gives me a little glimmer of hope that the team will still win the division. But to anticipate that the Lions could also win their first playoff game in over 2 decades is still a big stretch @ this point, also of course largely depending upon who might be their first round opponent.

Frustrating loses to Arizona, Cincinnati and now Pittsburgh start to mount..

Sad thing is we don't get the Titans this year.. We have to play the ravens :(

It's kinda sad...the Lions beat the Bears twice, and the Bears just beat the Ravens. But I have no confidence in the Lions to beat the Ravens.

lol any team that has a good coach is gonna give these boys hell. Good teams follow up losses (like the one to the Steelers) with a blowout win over a team they're favored heavily over. I don't believe for one second that they'll win the next game by more than a touchdown..........if they even come away with a win.

When is it going to be our turn, damn it? We're entitled..

That's what bothers me the most. Tampa Bay seems more likely to go from shit to superbowl again before this team plays up to it's potential.

Well hell we are Lions fans, rooting for this bunch is pretty sad.

Never. i fly my colors everywhere i go with no regret

I do too. I'm just way past ready to see these dudes turn that corner. Sat and watched the New England game and couldn't help but think that even with the secondary we have, we should be able to win games like that.

mitch, hughes and tdallton are in the hot seat if the Lions remain the 3rd seed.

And if they don't remain in third seed position...what's your status? Dumbass?

If they dont make the playoffs i think they should move on. But they wont. Mayhew is to dumb to make that decision and Fords are to dumb to force that decision.
