Time for the individual prediction thread since OTAs have begun and the draft is over. Last year, some of us saw how great our defense could be (compared them to Seattle) but the offense faultered from injuries at RB, WR, TE and Oline along with the kicking game (13 missed FGs).

2015 Predictions
Stafford 5,000 yards 35 TDs 12 ints 63%
Calvin 1,300 yards, Tate 1,000 yards, Ebron 650 yards, Moore 400 yards, Abdullah 500 yards, Riddick 400 yards, Bell 400 yards, 350 yards Fauria/Fuller/Pettigrew/Burton

4.2 YPC overall run game (14th in league last year) 200 carries for Bell, 150 carries for Abdullah, 100 carries for the rest. 450 carries was around 10th in carries in 2014.

Receiving TDS Calvin 10, Tate 4, Ebron 5, Abdullah 2, Fauria 7, Moore 4, Fuller 1, Pettigrew 1, Bell 1

Rushing TDs 15

2 defensive TDs

Prater 29/33 FGs

52 Total TDs, 29 FGs

28 PPG

Lions Oline allows 30 sacks (15 less than last year) and less overall hits and hurries. Top 15 in hits/hurries allowed

Lions defense 46 sacks (4 more than last year)

10 for Ansah, 5 for Ngata, 5 Jones, 4 Walker, 3 Wright, 2 Reid/Wootton, 4 Tulloch, 2.5 Levy, 6.5 Webster/Tapp/Taylor/, 2 Ihedigbo, 4 Van Noy

Lions defense forces 30 turnovers (3 more than last year)

10 fumbles recovered (up from 7), 20 picks (again) Slay 3, Quin 5, Dig 3, Tulloch 2, Levy 3, Mathis 2, nickels 2.

Lions top 8 offense in total PPG, YPG, first downs and 3rd down %

Lions defense top 7 in defensive PPG, rush YPC, turnovers forced and 3rd down stop %.

Lions record 12-4. 7-1 home, 5-3 away

I will do a few

Stafford

4400 yards, 24 TDs, 14 INTs, 60% comp

CJ 1300 yards, 9 TD
Tate 900 yards 4 TDs

Bell 225 carries, 850 years, 7 TD

Total rushing offense

1500 yards, 3.7 YPC

Defense

Fewer sacks, fewer INTs, similar fumble recoveries, 1500 yards rushing, 3.9 yds / attempt

Stafford with protection and a decent run game will thrive with these weapons and coaching staff.

28 PPG is pretty probable.

Offense: 12th overall in PPG and yards. 8th overall in passing yards, 20th in rushing.
Stafford throws for 4400 yards, 30 TDs, 16 INTs.
Abdullah leading rusher with 650 yards (4.4 YPC)
Bell second leading rusher with 550 yards (4.0 YPC)
Riddick ultimately ends up with more snaps out of the slot than the backfield.

Defense: 7th overall in PPG and yards. 10th in passing yards, 5th in rushing yards.
Ansah leads the team in sacks at 13.
Levy leads the team in tackles at 110.

Lions finish 9-7, tied for wild card spot.

Great, our running backs double the yardage of our top 10 match up nightmare....another year of Stafford not being able to read a defense and just dumping down.

That's a really, really long time for Bell to run.

No confidence in our return game huh? 0 Special teams TDs, disappointing.

Just to be clear is this your one and only prediction...or are you going to have about 10 again?

I never had 10. I had 1. But thanks for not contributing.

650 yards and 4 TDs is a solid year for a 2nd year TE. 1,300 and 1,000 yards for WRs. It's not just dumping down. Clearly with 5,000 yards. You don't dump down for 5,000 yards. Our TE is talented and our RB are talented receivers.

Would put him at 12th in TE yardage. Since he's a clear 3rd weapon unlike some TEs (Gronk,Graham etc), that is pretty good.

I was just meaning all the if so and so miss 1-3 games and normal injures I predict this record. If these two players miss 2 games and excessive injuries I predict this man. Like last year, you predicted 8 wins I believe since Calvin missed 3 or more.

I predicted 11 wins. The negative nancies predicted 7-9 wins.

And I predicted a great defense

You also predicted a good rookie year from Ebron......and a deep playoff run.......and Chris Greenwood to be the next Richard Sherman.....and Suh to stay......and a top 5 offense last year......

If you predict for EVERYONE and EVERYTHING to go right......of course you'll be "right" when something does. It's the exact same thing Hughes does.......he complains about every move Mayhew makes.......every pick.......every decision......so when a pick doesn't work out or a decision Mayhew makes goes wrong......Hughes is also "right"!

It doesn't make you smart.

11-5, great defense and many offensive injuries does make me smart. I was still right about the offense. Major injuries made it not assessable.

Lions top 7 defense and top 8 defense will show I'm the only one who knows anything about the Lions talent and ability in 2015. Yet again.

I was being facetious when talking about Greenwood obviously. People are too dumb to pick up on that.

And my deep playoff run was ruined by the refs. Lions outplayed Dallas and won the game.

I was never wrong in 2014. I was right in 2011 as well. 2012 and 2013 were not assessable due to major injuries.

This one was my fault.

Why would I expect to have a rational discussion with an irrational person.?

You think I would have learned that by now.

That's on me.

It's Ok, we all fall into the trap once in a while.

predicting our exact w/l record 2 out of 3 years and being 1 win off last year makes me realistic to what this team is. Most everyone on this board has this team over .500 last year....it was a cake schedule and the bears were in obvious decline. Not sure what youre referring to when mayhew made a correct decision...maybe a FA move. Definitely couldn't have been the draft or developing players or keeping his own or winning consistently or having any depth, or having financial flexibility. Ill be glad to have an intelligent discussion with you if you want to give me a concrete example of mayhew making a good decision and ill be glad to give my input.

Bears were not obvious decline. And your hater 2013 prediction was only due to injuries and miracle FGs by Tucker and blizzards in Philly and many picks that were not Stafford's fault (many in Ravens and Bucs and Giants games).

2012 and 2013 were injury riddled and fluke filled turnover years. 2014 was the true Lions and then the refs screwed us from a Super Bowl with terrible non PI call and allowing Cowboys to egregiously hold in the second half.
