Looking At Possible Detroit Lions Free Agent Targets: Guard Andrew Norwell.

Signing Andrew Norwell should be to top priority in free agency for the Lions. Signing Norwell and letting Travis Swanson leave in free agency would make the Lions offensive line look like Taylor Decker at left tackle, Andrew Norwell at left guard, Graham Glasgow at center, TJ Lang at right guard and Rick Wagner at right tackle. On paper, that is a top offensive line in the league.

Former player calls Matt Patricia Bill Belichick?s ?little prot?g?.
Matt Patricia has a lot of fans in the Patriots? locker room.

One of the concerns some have raised with Detroit Lions head coaching candidate Matt Patricia is his temperamental facade and how it may relate to player relationships. However, former Patriot Brandon Spikes spoke glowingly of Patricia, noting how he went above and beyond as a mentor off the field.

Patricia talked with the media on Monday and spoke about his interviews from last week, calling them ?informative.? However, he failed to give any real updates on how they went.

Marvin Jones Jr. will continue to work out with Randy Moss.
The Lions No. 1 receiver will be seeking more guidance from one of the best receivers in the history of the game.
Last year, Detroit Lions receiver Marvin Jones Jr. worked out with former NFL star Randy Moss during the offseason and saw a huge improvement in his play in 2017. Jones told reporters last week that he will be working out with Moss again this offseason, hoping to improve—specifically—his yards after the catch output.
