Decided to do an injury tracking thread for Lions and their opponents. We can settle if they "even out" over time and see which games who had the advantage.

Week 1 Lions vs Cards
Lions
LT Taylor Decker out on PUP
Punter Sam Martin out on NFI
DE Kerry Hyder out indefinitely IR
DT Jordan Hill out IR
Punter Kasey Redfern hurt 1st Quarter (which affected punting game and holding)

Cardinals
Robert Nkemdiche DE out
Deonne Buchannon ILB out
DJ Humphries LT hurt 8 snaps into the game
David Johnson hurt early 4th Quarter

Lions ended up having the advantage despite all the OTA and pre season injuries. Humphries and Buchannon were pretty big injuries. Johnson was shut down even before the injury. Nkemdiche will have to wait to earn that 1st round status with Calais Campbell gone from the Cardinals

So, true win for Arizona?

No ref errors in their favor. Tru and real win for Detroit. Detroit had plenty of injuries too and DJ was shut down.

Zona got a ref error in their favor to the tune of 7 point from the pick 6

We also had a 58 yard field goal that really changed the game. As we learned when Ravens/Justin Tucker played against us; Field goals over 55 yards don't count, they are luck.

Check out this guy's memory.

DJ was shut down because of injury. So I can't call that a true win. Lions are actually 0-1.

Damn it. Playoffs are in doubt now. Arizona concentrated injuries and a lucky pick 6.

Hopefully we can win 10 "true" games.

Hope we can get on track in NY!

That was NOT an error.....hit was before the release. Legal hit.

We won by more than 3. Tru lions win

He molested Tate with ball in air. Defensive holding or dpi.

Tru lions win. 1-0

I thought you had game tape? Clearly you don't or it would be extremely easy to see Stafford has the ball in his hand when Tate gets hit.

He had started his throwing motion....but hadn't let the ball go. Just a good play by the defense.

Its defensive holding

Where's the "abandon thread" meme when we need it?

He didn't hold him. He knighted his weak ass off his route like he's supposed to.

In other news. Obj won't play. True win giants. Lions 0-2.

I've heard rumbling but nothing official on OBJ. Are you sure or just assuming?

He grabbed Tate. It was holding.

Either way Lions dominated and won by 12 instead of 19. 16 or 23 if the punter didn't get hurt.

Bring on the Giants. Ansah and Tate were limited. Hart and Robinson DNP, Beckham was limited

And the Lions deserve about 100 games in a row of injury and ref advantage. We got one so far for injuries only but not refs
