Hawks over Preds
Blues over Wild
Ducks over Flames
Sharks over Oilers

Rangers over Montreal (because my massive anti-Price bias)
Bruins over Senators
Caps over Leafs
Jackets over Penguins (Toss up in my books, just dislike Pens that much)

I will take

Preds over Hawks .. ( hate the hawks)
Blues over wild
Fucked over Flames.
Sharks over Oilers.

Montreal over Rangers .
Senators over Bruins.
Caps over Leafs.
Jackets over Penguins. (I really can't stand Pittsburgh).

I will make my series picks without the first game results in mind if I may:

Predators over Hawks
Wild over Blues
Flames over Ducks
Sharks over Oilers

Montreal over NY
Bruins over Senators
Leafs over Caps
Jackets over Penguins

I just noticed. The Oilers coach Mclellend, previously coached for San Jose. Before that served as assistant in Detroit under Babcock.

So for the Blues and Penguins have strangelholds on their series. Love how none of us took the Pens.

Well if it wasn't for some shady officals in the second wings Penguins Stanley Cup see series the wings possibly could have gone back to back. Sidney's teams get all of the calls

Uh boy, I whiffed on the Wild. Thought they would finally break through in the playoffs.

My NHL pool: Conference Finals West Champs Stanley Cup Champion

Hawks over Preds
Wild over Blues

Flames over Quacks
Oilers over Shaaks

Canadiens over Rangers
Sens over Bruins

Leafs over Caps
Pens over Jackets

Unfortunately for the Wild the Central division is the toughest in the NHL. Meaning they are likely to play Chicago or St. Louis in the first round. Not to mention the Preds and Jets which are getting better every year.

Dallas which is a far better team than their record suggests.

So far enjoying the Toronto?Washington series the most. Surprised by how close the Leafs have kept it.

That Roman Polak injury was pretty gruesome, no surprise he won't be back this year. Never want to see a guy get hurt like that.

Nice to see the Hawks down 3-0!!! I guess regular season means little as Hawks 106, and Wild 103 top two point teams in the west are both down 3-0. Capitals down 2-1 doing the playoff fade they always do. One day maybe the will make it.

The Toronto/Washington series went to OT all 3 games. Sadly I fell asleep early in second period. :(

Toronto got a lot of momentum back when Mathews scored off a lucky bounce. He shot the puck, deflected by 1 D into the face of the other, than Mathews managed to tap it home.

Nashville had 17 shots in the first period last night.

Chicago took 3 games just to get their first goal.

Hahaha, Fluffy white cloud :)
The fluffy cloud seemed tired at the end of his shift

But as you can see, he didn't dangle through the two D. The lucky bounce is the deflection which sent the puck into the D's face.

But yes, play wouldn't have happened without him being a good skater.

I give Schmidt a pass for accidentally stopping the puck with his face. Karlsson needs to step in to Matthews and slow him up. As for Backstrom, you put your head down and make an effort. You never know.
