Key takeways. Ward is in the best shape of his life. Langford has made the biggest leap. Winston was told that he can go home for a month, he came back 2 days later to lift weights every morning and spent the summer in the gym getting stronger and improving as a defender. Jackson has added some good weight, now goes 6-11, 242 lbs. Tum and Bridges are captains. Bridges has really been working on his ball handling. Schilling is a full go and has looked good. Carter almost a full go, is really a smart player. Goins added 15 lbs of muscle and is not wearing a knee brace, also added a 3 pt shot. Tillman lost 20 lbs and is really a lot further along than was expected, he is tough and loves to run the floor. McQuaid shooting well. Ahrens out 4-5 weeks with foot.

Should be a special season.

Ahrens is out.

There goes the season. See ya next November.

Crazy deep team. I honestly believe our 2nd team could finish in the top half of the conference and make the big dance.

I hope the reports about Langford taking the biggest leap are true. Finding a reliable third scorer after Bridges and Ward would be nice. Langford showed quite a few tools last year, but getting him to do the things consistently was the issue (not uncommon for a freshman).
