Bruins 3 Detroit 1 Final

Sorry it was Saturday. . I had the piston game and wing game reversed .

Most the game has been in neutral zone so far. At least the Wings are getting pucks in deep and finishing checks.

And the Las Vegas Golden Knighta are 23-9-2.

Holland is a terrible Gm now days.

So did I, but apparently Gallant knows how to make best use of his offensive depth.

Defensively they are still weak.

But Vegas are playing a system and playing it consistently. Wings aren't even consistent for a whole game, and IMO, that starts with coaching staff motivating the players.

Vegas

PK: 23rd at 78.9%
Save%: 18th at 90.7
SA: 4th fewest
Shoot %: 4th at 10.7

The team is also 2nd highest in totals goals scored during games, averaging 6.44 that should be coming down as Fleury is back. Lagace was the leaky goalie by far. He also started for 6 of the 9 losses in 13 starts.

Agh.... Fleury being back full time might even help them climb standings even more.

Few coaching highlights from past 10 years
2007 Gold at World Championships with Canada as assistant coach
3 Seasons with Saint John Sea Dogs of QMJHL.
159-34-9 Record
3 times top of standings
3 times in QMJHL finals
2 time QMJHL winner
1 time Memorial Cup winner (National title fought between top teams in each League of the CHL)

When returned to coaching in NHL took Florida to 91 than franchise record of 103 points. Florida were idiots for firing him last season. Oddly enough they were still in a playoff spot at the time of the sacking.
