MSU Football recruiting

Sean Scherer with a high confidence crystal ball of 8 for Goodwin to MSU. Other MSU writers feeling it?s not as sure if a thing.

And Goodwin just said he's still deciding between MSU and UK, might not sign today, but he's an early enrollee so he's signing this week. This is not good for MSU IMO, as if he signed right now I think MSU was definitely the pick.

He could sign this afternoon.

Dude, just stop. The msu beat writers are not giving you any inside info because they have none. Do you see how many times you've 180'd in the last few days?

This recruitment screams of Jabari Parker. Kept flirting with msu when all along it was Duke and nothing was gonna change that. But the msu beat writers got a lot of clicks from people like you with "people close to him" stories.

End of the day he's been here a half dozen times and if that wasn't enough to flip him I'm guessing he's still Kentucky.

Goodwin pushed it back to 5, who knows, a coin flip.

Khris Bogle, 4 star DE transfer from Florida has signed with MSU. MSU also landed Caleb Coley, a flip from Vandy, and Zion Young, a DE flip from WVU today.

Bogle joins Brule and Windom as defensive transfers, they both signed today. The RB from Wisconsin signed today too as a transfer. Bogle was a must get IMO, adding talent at DE was the biggest need. Now, go find a DB or 2, and then maybe OT if we don't land Goodwin and Horst doesn't return.

So, Kentucky just offered a 3 star 2022 OT committed to Cal. Holy crap, this just might happen.

Apparently Kentucky is out and Goodwin told them last night. TAMU doesn't think they're getting him, but he didn't tell them they are out yet. He has not told MSU he is picking us yet.

So, as of now, I think it's 79% MSU. 20% TAMU 0% UK, 1% a giant meteor hits the earth tonight and none of this matters.

Can't wait to hear your story in what happened this time lol

You need 5 star kids to compete with the top teams. If we can't beat Kentucky out for kids we aren't in any better spot than 2 years ago. Good is our ceiling no matter how much money is thrown at the program.

that's not gonna happen. I think to be competetive, we need to land 7+ 4 stars a year with a 5 star or two sprinkled in here and there. Regardless, the point is we have to do a lot better than we have traditionally.

f'n Mark Stoops, the idiot brother of Bob Stoops can get a top 10 class at a basketball school - and that's before Goodwin signed. Wtf? UNC, another basketball school got 2 5 stars and 9 4 stars. We have 4 4 stars and 18 3 stars. Indiana, another basketball school has almost twice as many 4 stars in their 2022 class. We don't have a class full of kids wanted by a ton of top 10 programs. I know we need to give him at least another year before expecting too much in recruiting, but with classes like this, Tucker's ceiling is not the NC and the floor is definitely not 10-2, let alone competing for B1G titles.

2022 4 star WR Germie Benard was signed with Washington and actually enrolled in classes with them, he left Washington and asked and was granted a release from his LOI. He's expected to enroll at Michigan State next week, he'll be a big addition to the class. Will put MSU up to 17th or 18th in the rankings. #220 player in the country, he's good friends with Katin Houser who was a key to this. 6-2, 195 lbs with good speed and route running. Has better film than Winfield who we missed out on signing day, but Winfield had more speed.

Washington fired their head coach, but were retaining his position coach, well the position coach lied to Germie who signed his LOI when he left for Oregon. So Germie is leaving and heading to MSU apparently.

MSU is in the final 3 for high 4 star 2022 RB Trevonte Citizen. Auburn probably leads, but we?re not out of it. 113th ranked player in the country.

2023 class about to get some additions. A composite 4 star is announcing to MSU in the next couple hours, scuttlebutt that it is this guy:

#216 player in the country, about time we start reeling in some big time RBs.

The only other player in the class so far is TE Brennan Parachek who is now a composite 4 star too and #315 in the country.

Great pickup, seems like we have been getting a lot of skill players. Hope to see a bunch of lineman coming up.

Instate 4 star OL Cole Dellinger and 4star DE Jalen Thompson are likely to joint the class before the Summer. High 4 star OT Miles McVay (6-7, 365) is someone we lead for right now, but it?s a long road.

Tucker is selling 11-2 this class, let?s see what he can do on the trail.
