Gotta love run lines.... But as I always told my dentist friend when I worked in THE Vegas sports book industry......Parlays are for suckers... Get yourself a bankroll and be disciplined and bet straight Bets...

(But oh those round-robins can sure play some jack if you just have one or two underdogs)

:)

Im positive after 7 years of parlays. I do both straight and multiple teams, I have a system that works for me. ive taken $5.30 to $4200 on 1 run. I just hate losing 2 strikes 2 outs on a home run in the 9th...enough to almost make me pass out..

But remember the walk off homer that won you a run line? Those are great..
My dentist friend won too. Just over a 10 year period he gave back plus a bunch.. It was fun.. Not my money and I did some stuff for him from time to time... Parlays can win you a bunch in a short time no doubt.. The percentage is not as great as yours above but once it was $ 2500 into 65,000 in a week...It was a blast... But then he had a marker to pay off at the Rio and that was that... I did get my cut though :)
I remember using a bunch of he winnings for a down payment on a pool...
At 403 cross street...Henderson... Miss those days from time to time...

Ive had some extreme luck also i admit. Sometimes its hard to keep your head on straight. I do straights but honestly betting $500 and winning $400-$500 gives me no thrill, almost nothing. $2500 to $65000, ohhhh goodness thats delicious...

Yup... And it was through round robin parlays to get up that high although I do remember betting 6500 on the Braves for a Game for him... Parlays are fun that is for sure...
In any sport.. We made those bets when Paris hotel was not even there... It was called
Little Caesar way back then .. A dive betting joint but he took a lot of action... I liked baseball bets as I could shade the money line and make a little extra...(if he won)

Sounds like your system is good...
I remember working at Bally's which I did all 17 years I lived out there.
We took a lot of action from Jarom?r J?gr.. Him and his group would bet baseball parlays really big...We are talking baseball round robins that would cost him 5000 to 20000 dollars to bet.. He bet with us a few times... Lost more then he won with us then went to other casinos..

I completely agree. but the agony of missing by one game, especially an over that misses by a couple points when both teams combine for 25 missed free throws is pretty tough. I track it pretty closely - the parlays of 3 teams or more that I lost by just one game would have paid me over 100k just in college football and basketball this year. thankfully, most were if bets off of winners so on net I'm ok. But there's not feeling like the 2013 bowl games when I hit a 7 teamer with the final game being Bama -10 over ND (250 to win $18k). It was unreal - especially since I did teased the same 7 teams except took ND +16 at the same time for a $250 hedge that paid 2.5k. Obviously, I'm still patting myself on the back for that move. After that, straight bets just don't interest me so much.

Sounds fun... But percentage wise I still think in the end you would end up way ahead betting straight bets..I think that separates the discipline gamblers and the hot gamblers although it appears you have been hot for awhile... Gambling just does not interest me any more now that I don't live out there.. Now If I had a hidden 50,000 to 100,000 k. bankroll I would feel different..:)

Yeah, the odds clearly favor straight bets and this year was nothing like last year but I try to stay disciplined and just "if bet" parlays off of single game bets so most of them are on house money.
