Trump administration and disinformation

blaming the Trump administration for this or even saying they're taking it to new heights is just more partisan disinformation. As Tom said, this has been going on for decades - disinformation, distraction, deflection, propaganda - and it comes from both sides in equal measure.

One day we may live in a country where the flow of information will be used to benefit mankind instead tearing us all apart.
Hopefully a candidate will come along one day and be truthful and not need to use lies to win elections .

Trump and Republicans in Congress are just sock-puppets for the billionaires to manipulate and control, else we would have had campaign finance reform long ago, and Citizens United wouldn't have been SCOTUSed. It is well nigh impossible to successfully campaign and be elected to state or federal office purely upon grassroots support vs a corporate-funded/asstroturfed opponent, so Democratic candidates are obligated to do likewise, and 3rd party candidates rarely get the media attention or coverage that the Dems and Reps do.

Trump received more free media coverage than the rest of the candidates COMBINED had in '16.
