Lions' Ameer Abdullah: Questionable after limited practice
41M AGO • By RotoWire Staff
Abdullah (neck) returned to practice Friday as a limited participant and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Baltimore. Held out of practice the previous two days, Abdullah gave himself a shot to play with Friday's return, but he told reporters afterward that they'd have to ask Lions head coach Jim Caldwell if they wanted to know about the running back's availability for Sunday in Baltimore, per ESPN.com's Michael Rothstein. With the famously tight-lipped Caldwell unlikely to provide any hints, Abdullah should be treated as a game-time decision leading up to Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. In the event of an absence, Detroit would turn to some combination of Theo Riddick, Dwayne Washington and Zach Zenner to take on Abdullah's usual snaps and touches.

Swanson and Agnew out.
Abudllah and Lang questionable

Backup guard Jermaine Eluemunor out for Ravens. CJ Mosley, Ronnie Stanley, Alex Collins and Jimmy Smith all questionable but should play. Rookie CB Marlon Humphrey questionable as well

Wednesday

Matthew Stafford was at practice but didn't do much during it, throwing no passes. Jake Rudock took the majority of reps. Ezekiel Ansah, Dwight Freeney, T.J. Lang and Rick Wagner not working at open portion of practice.

Matthew Stafford said he has not tried throwing with the hand yet. Asked if he could play if it was today, he didn't answer the question.

Hopefully they’re quick to pull him if things don’t look right. Rudock probably isn’t much better than an injured Stafford, but there’s no point in having him tough it out, potentially risking further injury, if they find themselves in a hole early (again).

The season is lost. Play Rudock and try to bump up his trade value. No point in risking your franchise QB....

From ESPN

Matthew Stafford practiced Thursday and threw passes both to running backs and receiver drills. He had tape on his ring and pinkie fingers on his throwing hand. There's a picture of his hand.

Is this the same hand as last year, I don't remember. With TB defense or lack there of Rudock could have success.

The Lions have activated offensive lineman Joe Dahl from injured reserve while waiving safety Rolan Milligan. With T.J. Lang, Emmett Cleary, Corey Robinson and Travis Swanson all questionable and tackle Rick Wagner out, there's a chance Dahl could at least be active Sunday against Tampa Bay. Dahl had been competing for the starting left guard position some during training camp before Glasgow won the job pretty handily. Detroit has tried Dahl at both guard and tackle during his time with the Lions.

Wagner and Swanson out for Saturday against Bears
Ansah and Lang questionable
Abdullah and Agnew will be back

Might see some Joe Dahl at LG. Corey Robinson played well for Wagner last week

Lions just can't catch a break on the O line.

Riddick, Lang and TJ Jones all injuries. Some could be IR. Riddick the wrist again. That's bad

Or more Tion Green with Abdullah mixed in there

I like Tion but he needs to make a decision on what hole to hit sooner... Lookin like a discount Le'veon Bell back there taking his time...

TJ Jones to IR. Sign WR Andy Jones. Guess they needed another Jones at all times

Unfortunately with you OLine there usually is not a hole to hit

Vikings starting qb bradford didnt even miss playoffs. Proof that injury was positive for vikings as keenum gets the start over bradford
