Astronomy pictures of the day

Sometimes I find my first reaction to these pictures is, "Geez, couldn't they get a better camera?" Only to immediately smack myself in the forehead thinking, "How many years of study and careful testing must it have taken to create a camera that works IN SPACE for DECADES without breaking down?"

Yeah I agree..I find the stuff scientist and nasa and the JPL do pretty amazing. One day people will conquer the Solar System and beyond I hope.
