Janmark signed a 1 year $2.3 million extension with Dallas.

Janmark recorded 34 points over 81 games last season after missing the previous recovering from potentially career ending knee surgery.

As usual with the new TSN staff they get minor details wrong. His injury wasn't sustained in the preseason, it was a pre-existing condition which was discovered during a team medical.

Jurco reportedly having spinal surgery.

Recovery time will be 3 months, still unknown where he will play this season.

Just noticed Ben Street was playing for Anaheim tonight.

He recorded 1 assist in 6 games with Detroit during the 2016-17 season. Spent the last 2 seasons with Grand Rapids where he recorded 110 points in 135 games.

Lets hope he can stick around in the NHL, he is only 31 and accumulated a total of 35 NHL games between Colorado, Detroit, and Calgary.

Nice, Street should be getting first assist of season on Rowney's empty netter.

David Booth signed with Dynamo Minsk, the same team Teemu Pulkkinen is playing for.

This was about a month ago.

Coreau traded to St. Louis for future considerations, will stay in the AHL.

Coreau previously spent 4 years with the Red Wing organization primarily in the minor affiliates of Toledo Walleye and Grand Rapids Griffins. He dressed for 21 games with Detroit recording a 5-9-4 record with a 3.72 GAA and an 88.0 save %.

He didn't play for Anaheim and was solely used in their minor league affiliate San Diego Gulls.

While we are on topic of Anaheim, Ben Street played in 21 games for Anaheim recording 3 goals and 2 assists. Nice to see him making a run at the NHL even.

He previously played 35 NHL games between Calgary, Colorado, and Detroit.
