This was Anibal's decision from what I read. If so, he might be my new favorite Tiger. Let's hope like hell he gets it figured out down there and can help this team again.

yes...if he is out of options he would have to OK it or they couldn't do it. He should have done it a month ago

I think he thought he'd give the relief pitching a shot. Didn't work out so he wants to go back to starting. Ironically, his last outing he actually looked good for the first time all season. lol

Warwick Saupold is a dud of a pitcher. It is still a waste of a roster spot, even without Anibal.

I give Sanchez a lot of props for willing to do that, as much as I have ripped him for sucking the past couple years he seems like a good guy and teammate.

Should get some decent returns for Kinsler and JD in late July imo, and yes it isn't too early for these discussions as this is a .500 team at best going nowhere

Not sure I'd give him props just because he went down to Toledo. Better to pitch there, probably more, than in a mop up role here.

Where still paying Pelfery 8m to pitch for the white sox, Sanchez 5m buyout is a no brainier. he won't be back next year either way.
