Question about links

Is there any way to have the browser go directly to posted links without the homegrown redirection?

My new company has seen fit to block that redirection. It totally sucks, and kinda cramps my style, as I try to visit as many as possible.

Of course I can just look at them only from home, but is there anything that can be done for my work usage?

What exactly do you mean? What links?

When anyones posts a url link, I click on it, and there must be some redirection going on (something with viglink etc in the name).

If I just go directly to the site represented, I can see the information just fine. That is a tedious affair, if you haven't visited the site before.

If I just click on the link to try and follow it, I get the "forbidden" web page from my employer.

Of course at home, all url links that I click, redirect correctly, and I have no problems.

Do you understand what I am saying?

Thought I would post a quick example.

The link appears like this in someone's post:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=uqiWkJp_Y-k

The "..." has the rest of the link, but as you can see - this link is obviously a youtube video.

but the actual link starts at:
http://api.viglink.com/api/click?fo...=uqiWkJp_Y-k&jsonp=vglnk_jsonp_13630190760442 and is redirected from there to the actual linked site.

I was wondering if there was a setting or some way I could affect this redirection. If not it just means for most of the time that I spend on this board, I can't just click the links.

To view this link, I actually have to go searching the YouTube website to see the information. The website is allowed, the redirection from http://api.viglink.com/api/click is not.
