New York wins series

I'll be rooting for NYR, I like Lundqvist and they haven't won a cup in 20 years.

Regardless I will be rooting for the winner of this series in the Cup Finals.

I have Montreal winning the SC in my yearly pool so my preference is obvious.

Three out of the final four will be original 6 teams. Not sure when the last time that happened.

And until (if?) they realign again, there could not be 4 Original Six teams in the Conference Finals.

Montreal is the #4 seed and NYR the #5 seed by conference standings :/

There it is...1967 The year before expansion...Final year of the six...Makes sense.. But then again the Wings went through a dark period of hockey along with Toronto..

Stanley Cup Finals (4-2): Toronto Maple Leafs over Montreal Canadiens ▪
Semi-Finals (4-0): Montreal Canadiens over New York Rangers
Semi-Finals (4-2): Toronto Maple Leafs over Chicago Black Hawks

Damn Rangers win both on the road...Losing Price was a killer for the habs.

Road teams keep winning in this whacky series in which I think a healthy Red Wings would crush either team..

Well Rangers up 3 games to 1...

Montreal was up 4-1 in game five. Rangers Tied it at 4 then Montreal to the lead again.

Kings or Blackhawks are going to roll either of these teams..

Montreal wins game five 7-4...
Rangers lead series 3-2...

Rangers 1-0...win series 4 games to 2..

I just feel we could beat this club if healthy..
