15. Sergei Fedorov ? $81.16 million

One of the best players in the world through the ?90s and early-2000s, it?s not too surprising to see former one-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner Sergei Fedorov on this list. After all, he finished his career holding a number of different records in both the international and NHL game, and heads next year?s class for the Hockey Hall of Fame.

14. Keith Tkachuk ? $81.20 million

Keith Tkachuk is one of just five American-born hockey players to score 500 goals and is the sixth American player to score 1,000 points in an NHL career, showing why so many consider him to be one of the greatest US-born players to ever lace up a pair of skates. Playing in five All-Star Games and holding a few franchise records from his playing days, Tkachuk earned just over $81 million for his skills with a stick.

13. Marian Hossa ? $81.45 million

Still a current member of the Chicago Blackhawks, Marian Hossa is a player who has seen and done a lot in his long NHL career. Drafted 12th overall in the 1997 NHL draft, Hossa has won two Stanley Cups and has participated in five All-Star Games, proving that he?s one of the best players on any team he plays on?which is why he has earned so much in his career.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12. Martin Brodeur ? $82.66 million

After retiring from the New Jersey Devils after last season?the only franchise that he had known?goaltender Martin Brodeur just recently slid on another sweater for the first time ever, donning a St. Louis Blues jersey to help shore up their net-minder woes. Arguably the best goalie to ever wear a mask in the league, Brodeur has won numerous individual awards and three Stanley Cup titles, making him a lock for the Hall of Fame whenever he?s eligible.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11. Joe Thornton ? $83.17 million

Still an active player in the NHL, Joe Thornton of the San Jose Sharks has done a lot of good things during his playing days in the league. Although he has yet to hoist Lord Stanley?s Cup, Thornton has earned six All-Star appearances, as well as winning a gold medal with his native Canada in the 2010 Winter Olympics. An aggressive player who is a great leader, the center has earned just over $83 million in his career.

10. Jarome Iginla ? $83.82 million

Currently playing for the Colorado Avalanche, Jarome Iginla has been a spectacular player in the league since he was drafted 11th overall back in the 1995 NHL draft. Leading the league in goals in two seasons (2002, 2004) and earning an ESPY Award during the same years for the Best NHL Player, Iginla has stood the test of time and will go down as one of the best of his generation. He has yet to win a title, but has made just over $83 million during his career.

7. Brad Richards ? $85.78 million

A Stanley Cup champion and former Conn Smythe winner during that 2004 title, Brad Richards has shown to be one of the most balanced players in the league, right now, combining great touch on his passes while having the ability to score himself, too. Currently playing for the Chicago Blackhawks, Richards has a great chance to add another title to his finger, while also add more money to his bank account, even after he has earned over $85 million
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. Paul Kariya ? $89.37 million

Although Paul Kariya wasn?t the biggest player ever?he stands just 5?10″?he had the heart of a lion, which served him well throughout his 15 NHL seasons. In addition to leading his college team to an NCAA title in 1993, Kariya added seven nods to the All-Star Game onto his resume, as well as a 2002 Olympic gold medal with his native Canada. He never won a Stanley Cup title, but he did earn a lot of money and pave quite the legacy for himself.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Joe Sakic ? $96.37 million

Teaming up with the aforementioned Peter Forsberg, Joe Sakic had one of the most talented players to skate with during the majority of his career. That helped him earn two Stanley Cup titles, a Conn Smythe Trophy and a league MVP, showing that he could share the spotlight with another superstar. A 2012 Hall of Fame inductee, Sakic also added the MVP of the 2002 Winter Olympics to his resume, which proved that he was worth the over $96 million he earned during his playing days.

4. Vincent Lecavalier ? $98.07 million

A former No. 1 overall pick, current Philadelphia Flyers center Vincent Lecavalier has been one of the most exciting players since breaking into the league in 1998. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Nicklas Lidstrom ? $100.64 million

A finalist for next year?s Hall of Fame class, Nicklas Lidstrom should find himself amongst the others who are considered to be the best to ever play the game?and with good reason. In 20 seasons, he won four Stanley Cups, seven top denfesemen awards and a Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Chris Pronger ? $112.80 million

Although he hasn?t played in the past three seasons due to unfortunate concussions, Chris Pronger has been one of the most feared defensemen of the past 20 years, bringing both intimidation and skill to his position. A Stanley Cup champion and Olympic gold medal winner, Pronger has also added a league MVP to his mantle, a rare feat for a defender to accomplish. It?s clear that he has all the skills to be considered an all-time great, which is why he has cashed-in nicely, to the tune of over $112 million
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Jaromir Jagr ? $121.30 million

Is it just me, or is Jaromir Jagr the new, bionic man? Even at 42 years old, Jagr is still competing at a high level, currently playing for the New Jersey Devils and performing well.
