Tigers' Michael Fulmer to undergo season-ending elbow surgery.

The surgery, called an ulnar nerve transposition, will re-route the nerve so it no longer flares up.
The procedure is common for pitchers. New York Mets starter Jacob deGrom underwent the surgery last September and returned in time for spring training.

It's a harbinger of worse injuries. It's inevitable that Fulmer's career will end before he turns 30.

And when it first flared up they said oh it's nothing to worry about lol bunch of lies

No, it's not the fault the trainer, who has no input into the self-destructive mechanics of Fulmer's that is causing the elbow stress.

That's more of a reflection of the lingering injuries with players the last 5 years

I was advocating hard that we trade Fullmer at the deadline. His value would never have been higher than then. And we plan to be bad for a few years, the chances that he is our ace in 4 years is small.

And who would they trade him for? And you say he wouldn't be an ace in 4 years doesn't that mean other teams would know this as well?

AA handled so many things wrong since he has been here. I was OK with him saying everyone is available...put it out there...who cares. Then he says Fulmer isn't available. Why say that? Maybe he didn't want to trade him...which is fine. But let teams throw offers at you. You never know...some team might love the kid and offer something that you couldn't turn down.

The first two letters said it AA.
