Honestly, if you win the Cup, no one in 5 years will remember that it was a shortened season. Do you think Devils fans in 1995 give a damn that they won a championship in a condensed season? (beating the Wings in 4)

Perfect timing. They need to change nhl season to always starting when NFL ends and finish when NFL begins. Would make skating in playoffs a bitch, but the sports year would be perfect. Lol

And just run through baseball season? Bad idea. It needs to start when the NFL ends and end when MLB starts. Quick and easy.
