Matthew Stafford said the Lions offense has "to be more consistent." Said they can do that by just continuing to work at it.

Matthew Stafford, when asked about facing Julius Peppers again, said "can't get away from that guy." Peppers was in the NFC North for a bit with Chicago and Green Bay.

Lions DT Akeem Spence confirms his tweet last week that his dad lost a contracting job due to his decision to kneel during the anthem in Week 3.

Jim Caldwell said he spoke with Miles Killebrew about the mass shooting in Las Vegas, but that he didn't address it with the entire team.

Jim Caldwell said the Lions have done three different programs to help with Hurricane Harvey relief in Houston, including donating equipment to Travis Swanson's high school.

Paul Worrilow, Kenny Golladay, Haloti Ngata, T.J. Lang, Rick Wagner, Dwayne Washington and Steve Longa all not participating during open portion of Lions practice.
