The Lions signed OL Don Barclay on Tuesday -- last of Green Bay. He had been mostly a reserve lineman for the Packers before being released off injured reserve earlier this month. To make room for Barclay, the Lions cut Dan Skipper and also waived Storm Norton from the practice squad -- theoretically paving the way for Skipper to return to practice squad if he clears waivers.

Pride Of Detroit Lions PODcast wonders about the end of Ebron and end zone tribulations. 78 minutes.
?Well Dave I think the Lions need to establish the running game".

This week on the PODcast:
NOT A SINGLE TOUCHDOWN AFTER COUNTLESS TRIPS TO THE REDZONE okay I?m not mad I mean it I?m not mad I?m not mad at all.

But really how does that happen?

The Lions have to establish the run game.

Falling stars all around the Lions personnel and coaching staff, but at this point you know who the team is.

Eric Ebron might have played his last game with the Lions. We don?t know!

We?ll see at the deadline I guess, but we talked about his career in Detroit up to this point.

The Lions have to establish the run game.

Trying to have some fun, we decide to talk about the Pistons, but then things get gloomy again when we talk about the NFC North.

Gruesome sports injuries, takes on apples, Patrick Swayze and the Lions establishing the run game.

All there in the mailbag.

Detroit Lions Podcast Episode 126 ? Lions Look To The Packers. 41 minutes.

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case are joined by Jeff ?The Riz? Risdon to discuss the latest Detroit Lions news and views.

The boys finally get back into the groove again after their recent travel and work commitments, unfortunately, it?s after a difficult to swallow loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Undeterred, Chris and Case push forward and find the good news that might carry the team into the playoffs.

They take a look at what could be considered a career game for Quandre Diggs. While he didn?t play perfectly, he took a big step forward in this game against some solid competition. Part of why we discuss this is because Darius Slay shut down Antonio Brown and the defensive line put a cold hard stop on anything Le?veon Bell tried to put down. We also talk about the ?defenseless receiver? call against Quandre, and disagree wholeheartedly with it.

We also talk about the strong play from the Offensive Line, our terrible Red Zone Offense, the changed Offensive scheme that was otherwise quite strong, the interesting new use of Jamal Agnew, and what to expect/look for over the rest of the Lions schedule. We also take listener calls during Fansanity and break down what happened at the trade deadline, Ziggy Ansah?s absence, and what the top four positions the Lions should be looking for in the 2018 draft.

Further, we take a look at what to expect in the upcoming Packers game and what it might bring, followed by Case?s huge segment where he takes us ?Around the Division?.
