Teams I root for..
Byron Center is 6-3...(my kids school).
Haslett 6-3..............(My High school team).
Rockford..7-1...........(My junior high school team.)
North Muskegon 5-4..( My grade school team and where I snapped my Femur).
Hastings..1-8..........(My late fathers team. I lived there from 0-5 years old).
Mason 7-2.............. (My Nephew's team even though they have all graduated)..
Caledonia 5-4......... ( I know the former coach now offensive coordinator and he was a cool dude) Plus their title run in 2005 when he was head coach they beat my high school 27-6 :( When they played favored East Grand Rapids at there place in the second round of the playoffs it was the hardest hitting high school game I have ever seen won by the Caledonia 14-7..

This guy (Snoooze2You) has been doing High school Mapeteology for Michigan High school football for years where he starts to slot the teams into divisions for the playoffs.. Just another fun speculation tool and he is normally pretty accurate.
Can be found on mlive.

Big games

BC at Zeeland West... Winning wins ok Green and will get a home game in the playoffs possible.
Caledonia verses Grand Rapids Christian.. Caledonia is in trouble and my have to get in a 5-4..
5-3 North Muskegon verses 7-1 Maple City Glenn Lake.. NM may get in at 5-4.
5-3 Haslett verses 2-6 Chelsea. Normally Chelsea is better then this..

Another huge game

Reeths-Puffer 7-1 @ Muskegon 7-1 for the OK Black title

Yes huge game and a possible preview of next weeks district.

As of right now snooze has both of those teams playing in the same district as the number 2 and 3 seed.. Oh by the way the number one seed is Lowell, and the number four seed is Mona Shores...If he is right and that happens talk about one tough district in D-2.. Holy crap..

It's possible that Muskegon could fall to D-3 this year.

Speaking of D-3....not sure how Zeeland East is still ranked 9th. Reeths Puffer, Mona Shores and Muskegon completely rolled them the last 3 weeks.

Muskegon is at 1118 enrollment
lowell is at 1146

To show you how close it is but when it is all said and done both of them will be among the last 10 schools in D-2 in my opinion.. With muskegon being in the last five.

AT LEAST I HOPE!!!! God help the other D-3 teams if the Big Reds get slotted in with them LOL...
it will be interesting to see how the 5-4 teams break down this year.. Looks like about 3-5 per class
this season will make it..

I saw on the local tv coverage that they think it will be a recored number of 5-4 teams in the playoffs this year.

EGR at 5-4 may still make it.. They lost to Forest Hills Central (4-5)
A. On a 41 yard wind aided Fg to force OT.
B. Fake extra point to win the game for FHC in ot.

Caledonia at 5-4 has to sweat it out.
North Muskegon at 5-4 has to sweat it out.
Both are probably out, and many other 5-4 teams have to wait and see.
