Detroit Catholic Center won by one today 34-33...not sure if t was that close.. Zeeland west was trailing Mount pleasant 20-18 at half in MP, and then scored 22 third and 22 fourth quarter points for a 62-27 win.. Ithaca in division six keeps rolling. Up to around 54-ish games in a row.
in D-7 it appears Ishpeming and Detroit Loyola are on a collision to meet again as is Muskegon and BBR....In D-2...

CC and Bedford was exactly that close. Bedford scored a td to take the lead with less than 2:00 to play. CC ran a flawless 2:00 drill with 6/6 passing (plus one spike to stop clock) and took the lead back with 0:25 to play. Bedford moved the ball to the CC 45 but threw a pick with about :17 left to ice it for CC. Bedford was for real. Great QB, dual threat and great online play. CC is very good but strengths aren't where typical CC strengths are.

DCC and Cass tech should be a good game right?

DCC and Cass tech should be a good game right?

Well, they've met in the finals at Ford Field the last couple years and Cass Tech dominated with fairly young teams. CT has a Junior QB (MSU bound Jayru Campbell) who is a 3rd year STARTER. Another stud RB (Mike Weber) is also a Junior. They're loaded. Every Senior from their team last year got a football scholarship. They just re-load.

Outdoors, a little cold, a little wind, maybe a little rain.....could be a good game. CC would have a chance. Otherwise, I suspect Cass Tech cruises to a third straight State Championship.

CC got the weather they wanted, but I don't think it mattered. CT could not run or pass against CC all day. Meanwhile, CC's o-line took it to CT. 28-0 beatdown as CC won handily.

Jayru Campbell, the superstar MSU commit Cass Tech Junior QB, lost his cool at least once during the game when he got into a tussle after fumbling away the ball late in the 2nd quarter (lead to a 6 yard drive and TD for CC). Worse, he took a swing at a CC kid during the post game handshakes. Punched him in the mouth!

Coach Dantonio might get on the phone with him shortly.
