No part, I get it all. I don't really care what Eric said. You said the fact that Eric has a Jewish sister was lost on him. That's not clear, at all. Most Christians and Jews respect each others' faiths. I know our Jewish friends like getting our Christmas card, many of them even say Merry Christmas to us and I acknowledge their major holidays with well wishes as well. I know you need to find a reason to hate everything about any Trump but in this case, you're just sound like a bitter old man - maybe one day you'll let go of the bitterness. Maybe reading the teaching of Christ will help with that - even if you don't believe in him, you'd have to be pretty lost to not agree with what he says about how we should treat one another.

Muslims consider him to be a prophet, Most Jews believe that any Messiah still has yet to appear , and FLDS Mormons didn't exist as a faith until the US 1800s.

You know next to nothing about me, and unless your memory is a short one, I posted a few years ago here on DSF that my ancestors were so deeply Christian, that they built the first RCC outside of downtown Detroit in the early 1800s. I have had more than enough mostly involuntary immersion in that Christian denomination from childhood to early adulthood, (including being old enough to remember Mass being said in Latin only, attending one everyday except Saturday while attending parochial grade school), and hardly need your sanctimonious and condescending retorts to learn anything more about it whatsoever.

under whose presidency did the national debt rise the most? More than any president in history.

I read that the debt has fallen by $102B since Trump took office. Don't get me wrong...I think Trump is an idiot. But I think those numbers are correct.

Edit: The $102B was from Jan 20 to the end of July 2017. Not sure what has happened since then

The company appears to be folding in Michigan or I should say in a major restructuring which has been going on a for a yearish. Her job is not yet in trouble but it's coming . Plus the drive 1 way is a big burden. If the pay scale was the same it would be a no brainer to take the new job for the same freaking job. But it's a gap. Weighing everything it's close .. drive . Somewhat cheaper insurance but there could be coverage concerns with my back injections .Prescription and dental appear a tad worse. Vision is better. . I may have to go back to cash for premium prescriptions.they really liked her but probably won't offer cause they start so low....Shame she wants it but wants to be paid what she feels she is worth.

Tax and spend is "socialism" ...but cut and spend, bailout and spend, and borrow and spend (the second for "too big to fail" and the last being the means which was used to help fund the invasions and occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan) are patriotically A-okay.

In this case though, a new scheme is being introduced by the GOP in temporary tax-cuts to create a slow-acting poison pill, which if effective, will be used as a reason to kill or sharply reduce govmint "entitilements" including SS. SSD, and Medicare-aid, despite the majority of beneficiaries having paid into them for much, most, or all of their working lives. I expect the half-life of these temp tax-cuts to last until 2021, IF they are able to retain or esp increase their majority hold over the 3 branches of federal government, and likewise almost 2/3rds or more of state legislatures and governorships.

By allegedly ending them 4 years later, ensures that the '20 elections will not be affected by voter uncertainty over how they would fare financially the following year forward, 2025 is a YUGE difference, and is a distant enough date for the hoi-polloi to not as yet be all too concerned about.

It has been estimated that those double unresolved conflicts will wind up costing nearly 8 trillion by the time that the last vet passes away. And that was only if the US had/will have ceased all involvement from '16 forward.
