Link, not being echoed by Republitards, as every deficit scare was from 2009-2016, and despite just passing a big tax cut to further reduce gov't revenues:

it would be the first time since 2012 the U.S. economy will have to support a deficit so large, highlighting a basic shift for the Republican Party, which has traditionally prided itself on fiscal conservatism.

...

The committee had previously projected the deficit - the difference between the government spending and its annual tax revenue - would reach $983 billion in fiscal 2019. That estimate came after Congress in December passed a tax overhaul that will add about $1.5 trillion to the national debt over a decade.

Why deficit not matter no?

What Fox Newz and Breitbart say? pls help.

b/c when Republican spending policies create federal deficits, it will make capitalism-ists prosper and flourish. When Democrats cause deficits, it is to help socialism-ists destroy our gawd-given liberties and freedumbs.

Now Emperor Donald I, the Pentagon, and Republicans want to spend even more hundreds of billions of vaporous fiat funds on miltary hardware meant to launch low yield "tactical" nukular bombs and missiles, most comparable to the 15Kt Little Boy and 20Kt Fatman atomic bombs which were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, near the end of WWII. They would serve as additional deterrents or responses to cyber and/or military attacks in Europe, Asia, the Middle and Far East by Russia, Iran, China, and NK.

"Trump signaled his interest in a broader nuclear arsenal soon after his election, when he said on Twitter that, “The United States must greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes.”

Yeah b/c subtraction by addition would work out just peachy-keen.

Obviously the recent passing of the TC & JA would not allow for the funding of such ambitiously aggressive projects...so other govmint spending would need to be cut permanently, along with likely selling off property to help fund them. We of the Left know who and what that would target.

Gotta have more bombs.. Have to be able to destroy the world 7000 times over instead of 5000 times over.. lol.

I forget who the current dictator of France is but yeah, last time I was in France, if you took away the wine and the perfumed whores and the Eiffel Tower it was basically Bolivia.

don't forget the cheese! also, I assume you meant this but it's worth mentioning, leave the non-perfumed whores - Bolivia has tons of those. probably.

in case you missed it - the point of my post was about Trump's apparent inspiration for this horrible idea - France's Bastille Day Parade.

Yeah I got it.

Hey if you're in front of a computer with Internet access you could pull up Doug McIntyre and LeeAnne Tweeden on KABC 790 Los Angeles. It's pretty funny right now.

because conservative = dictator. except, aren't most of those dictators socialists or communists. oops.

I'm pretty sure there have been dictator's throughout human history, long before "socialism" or Karl Marx existed.

Also, have u ever heard of Mussolini? Adolf Hitler? Franco? What about all the fascists we put in power, often overthrowing democratically elected governments to do so? Iran's shah? Batista? Somoza? Pinochet? Gee, pretty much most leaders in Central and South America going back to 1890?
