Lions agreed to terms with WR Jeremy Kerley, formerly of the Jets, on a one-year contract.
Kerley averaged 80 targets with the Jets from 2012-14, but he fell out of favor with new coach Todd Bowles last season and was cut before free agency. Kerley is not the answer as the Lions try to rebuild following Calvin Johnson's retirement, but he is a slot-type who can help as a punt returner. He will compete for a role in camp.
