So basically the Tigers don't have any top 100 prospects in their minor league system. Great!!

Of course there is no Ray. You don't put a LOOGY in the Top 100.

Even if scouts think he will be a #3 or #4 he wouldn't be on the top 100.

And yet Law's last two pitchers (Chris Anderson, 20 and Rob Kaminsky, 18) have each only pitched one year in the minors and they make his list.

i am not surprised both because I know our farm system sucks ass and im not high on ray, and also because i think law is a douchebag hack of a writer who seems to hate detroit, so even if ray was good or we had other upper tier prospects, they'd be underrated by him.

this is what happens after years of giving up draft picks, drafting like utter shit (including wasting pick after pick on college reliever, pitchers who project to be relievers, and guys with all arm and no control, while leaving the position prospect field virtually barren), and trading what little talent we get away (which i dont particularly mind since we usually get good return and because our prospects never seem to amount to much after being traded).

Trevor Bauer was high on the list 2 years ago. Now where is he? Half of these guys on this list will fade away or not live up to the hype.

One of the reasons I'm not sold on Castellanos being a full time MLB starter yet. Just because he's the best we have, does not necessarily make him ready for what they plan. That's a lot of pressure, and almost no backup plan (Lombotomy/Kelly) if it doesn't work out.

He should be an above average hitter with power based on what I have seen. He is the best hitting prospect I have seen since Curtis Granderson. He has a weird loop in his swing but the ball makes that special sound when he connects. I think he is here to stay. The defense will interesting however.

Delino DeShields Jr. Hopefully will have more offensive production than his dad, who's production was downright offensive in numerous seasons.
