Bobby Bonilla's favorite day

Are the Tigers done paying Sheffield's and their portion of Prince Fielder's contracts yet? Unstreaky Upton, Dirty Sanchez, and Pitiful Pelfrey (although he has pitched a little better of late) have not lived up to the value of their contract$. Hopefully Zjmmerman will regain his earlier-season form when he returns.

The Dodgers dumped Carl Crawford, while still owing him $$35 MM on his deal. But in most cases, it is the fans/consumers who ultimately will foot the bill for corporate fuckups. "Privatize profits, socialize losses".

I'm sure you are right. Alot of clubs probably are paying players still.

Thought that they still could be. It is sheer irony that the ballclub is paying for two indifferent ex-Tigers who were polar opposites on the basepaths. One who was like a flopping walrus, the other like a pouncing cheetah. Too bad that they couldn't hire Sheffield to teach his baserunning prowess during ST.
