Mcc goes down in D-8

Heavyweight match up today in Mendon as Muskegon Catholic Central who had won four D-8 titles in a row loses in district title game 26-15. Mendon trailed at halftime 15-6 and scored on a long drive to start the third to cut lead to 15-13 in the rain. After a couple of turnovers Mendon scored again to make 19-15 and then sealed the game with a pounding td under 2 minutes to go uo 26-15. After a int the game was over and so was MCC's d-8 dominance. Now we shall see if powerhouse Mendon recapture it's D-8 prominence as they have won many titles also like Mcc. They Host Climax -Scott's next week in the regionals. They own a 43-8-1 overall record verses CS but the teams have split the last four games including two in a row by CS.
