2014 Belmont

Here we are on June 4, three days before the Belmont and a chance at history with California Chrome as the odds on favorite to win it.

A friend is going to Belmont race track leaving very early Saturday morning, should be upwards of 100,000 there.

The draw for Post Positions is later today. We are doing the $2. Long shot bets for the card. and I will probably make a couple of tri-boxes and Daily Doubles.
Good Luck.... Jeff, Elrod, and everybody.

Post Positions CC is the #2 horse.

Something about Samraat and Tonalist.

Let's see if I was right about the Triple Crown. Kinda wish I had put some money on it at this point. But I would get board bragging rights for predicting the Triple Crown, right?

Since 1952, 18% of Belmont winners were outside top 3 after 1 1/4 miles; will California Chrome have the endurance? pic.twitter.com/FFd2uPtoSi

I bet Tonalist, Saamrat, Wicked Strong to Win Place.

iirc no longshots on the entire card.

On the Belmont yes, rest of the card might be a donation.
