This sounds interesting I've heard this theory in general before but never really heard a lot of detail as to why he thinks this, but I'm intrigued

First Half: John Brandenburg, PhD is a plasma physicist, who did his graduate work at Lawrence Livermore National Lab in controlled plasmas for fusion power, and has worked in defense, energy, and space research. He'll discuss data he presented at the prestigious Lunar and Planetary Science Conference on evidence for nuclear detonations on Mars.

I don't agree with the notion it was aliens though. I lean towards distant past, ancient ancestors. we are a species with amnesia IMO, destroyed ourselves once already and probably on a path to do it again.
