This doesn't make much sense. Hood is booked as a shooter, but he's not even close to elite, and wildly inconsistent. Despite his height, he's not very big and is a poor defender (he's overmatched even against most SFs). He contributes almost nothing as a playmaker. Kennard is arguably already as good, but with significantly more potential. Hood is also a RFA this summer, and will want a big raise that he doesn't deserve.
Stanley sucks on offense, but at least he defends. I don't see what Hood would appreciably bring to the table that Bullock doesn't already.
