Taylor Decker has shoulder surgery, rehab, returns to practice Nov. 1

That's it! How can ya go wrong with a name like that, storm f'n norton baby!

Lions sign journeyman Tony Hills. Played for 10 other team. Lifetime backup since 4th round pick from Steelers from 2008.

Hope this means Decker will be healthy or they really like Dahl.

nice!....were about to get fleeced by the pats.

Maybe we can give them a conditional 7th round pick, to make up for us sending them Van Noy last season???

Yeah. I know.. here goes a first and third rounder for sure, and Solder tears his achilles in the first preseason game.

I'm guessing Dahl is the guy for now. Tony Hill brings nothing to that squad

Good lord, a torn labrum a probably the worst case scenario. I'd be shocked if he's back before December. Lions should plan to play the entire season without him and consider it a bonus if he makes it back before the season ends.

The only good thing about this is that we know his injury timeline, unlike Levy

Rapport says Torn Labrum 4-6 months
4 months is Week 5
5 months is Week 9 at Pack in game 8 of the season after the bye and Pit game
6 months is December 11-12 games missed

Not good. Did Rappaport say Ebron torn Achilles last year though?

Taylor Decker out 4-6 months with torn labrum.

One a scale of 1-10, this news is about a five; starting the season on PUP would mean Decker sitting at least the first six weeks of the year.
But being placed on the IR-return list would be even worse, holding him out until at least Week 8.

Like others have said the only good thing about it was the timing... At least it happened now before training camp even so we can get a long good look at possible replacements and get that person, whoever it may be, time to mesh and gel with the line.

Still some options out there that have LT experience. Guy like Beatty you could get for 1-2 mil.

King Dunlap LT 31 LAC TBD -
Ryan Clady LT 30 NYJ TBD -
William Beatty LT 32 NYG TBD -
Jake Long LT 32 MIN TBD

The sooner the better but hopefully they don't rush him till he's really 100% but IDK if that's possible with how Robinson has been looking.....
