How can you rack up 7 violations for driving without a license? It's hard to take it too seriously - doesn't seem like the type of violation that should get him kicked off the team if none of them involve alcohol, but SEVEN?!!!

Serious question, how serious is this? I assume there's a possibility of jail time. What sort of school/athletic department/team discipline is likely to be taken? Again, driving without a license is pretty minor, but seven times, wtf? Is he like that guy in NY who started stealing subway trains when he was 14 and kept stealing subways and buses for like 25 years.

Well, on the bright side, if they do suspend him our fumbles per game rate should drop whiles he's sitting.

I read that one of them did, he was driving around with what he admitted was his alcoholic drink in an open cup, but he passed the sobriety test so they didn't charge him with anything alcohol related.

It is absolutely baffling though. Seems like he wants to throw his life away. How do you keep going back to the well, the 4th, 5th, etc time?

Just read in the Detroit Free Press that Dantonio said he just got his license. He said his playing status will be affected but he will still play. Maybe it will be like the Michigan game where he dressed but didn't play.

He was injured vs UM, could have played in an emergency.

Dantonio issued a statement saying that LJ does have a valid drivers license, free of any restrictions. Graham Couch tweeted today that Scott had the paperwork, it just wasn't on him yesterday. He had a temporary license that was suspended a few days after getting it because he hadn't paid a ticket for a traffic citation.

He did pay a $500 fine, which is hefty for a college kid.

Much ado about nothing here

ok so maybe this one is nothing altho I wud think after 6 tickets for driving on a suspended license you would make.damn sure you had your paperwork on you Everytime you got.behind the wheel.

also, even if this one is no big deal, he still raked up 6 violations in 2 years. hes not getting in fights or assaulting women but at a minimum, he's demonstrating piss.poor judgement Have one of your buddies with a license drive for crap's sake.
