Detroit Lions - Team Notes

61 years ago today December 29, 1957:
Detroit Lions defeat the Cleveland Browns 59-14 at Briggs Stadium to win the National Football League championship. The Lions have only one black player on its roster: John Henry Johnson, a full back.

John Henry Johnson was a Brute as a Fullback. Right there with the great Jim Brown.

Lions CBs Nevin Lawson and Jamal Agnew are now both OUT Sunday against Green Bay. Both were listed as questionable for Sunday.
