A lot of help, but not a lot of money left to spend. Reworking Stafford's deal as part of his extension could work.

Lions get almost another 6 million june 1st for levy

Nice. 6 million, and we don't even have to hear about his off season adventures anymore.

Lions have 5.6 million now. Get 5.8 million on June 1st. So 11.4 million in space to work with

Need about 2.5 million for draft picks under top 51 rule. Another 2.5 for top 53 and practice squad and buffer for ir in September.

So 6.4 million in play space or save it for carryover. Can add even more space with a Stafford extension. Lower his 22 million cap number possibly. Room for Blount and Boldin if they want.

2018 the lions have a ton of space. Plent of room for big contracts for Stafford and ansah. They need to extend Stafford though to free up franchise tag for Ansah in worst case scenario

Allot of cb depth stilll on the market-

Veterans

Revis
Mccourtey
Flowers
Mckelvin
Shields
Tramon Williams

High draft pick w potential. Aka cheap depth

Justin Gilbert
Kyle Wilson
Brandon Boykin

Lawson graded higher than flowers and mccourty and revis

Shields is mush like best. Packers should have known before extending him

Tramon was poor on the browns. Mckelvin was poor

Lawson and Tabor with a slight chance for Hayden is great number 2 cb starter and depth. Diggs, Hayden and Agnew is good nickel depth

6 already with slay,Lawson,tabor, Hayden,Diggs, Agnew. 7 with Bademosi

We don't need a corner

I don't think Diggs makes the roster this year. Just no room for a slow and squatty corner. I do think Justin Gilbert is worth a look, because outside depth is something we still need, imo

Lawson also raped and pillaged the WR on 77.333333% of the balls thrown his way.

Its scary that you can say "Lawson, Diggs and Hayden....we dont need a corner" with a straight face. If we didnt need corner help Quin wouldnt have drafted 2 of them....1 in the 2nd round. Then you state Tramon and Mckelvin were poor.....but youre completely fine with how shitty Hayden was with he Raiders? Dude barely played he sucked so bad. Even when he was healthy he got stashed behind other people....played in 11 games last year, started 2. The least you could do is bring in more bodies to compete against that....

We drafted two corners. Hayden is your 1st round potential guy. Slay is good..lawson is solid..diggs has been solid in past. This team is stacked witb corners

Tabor vs lawson is the battle

Give Revis a little check, stop gap corner and go from there

Lawson has good technique. Dpi called in packers game was an awful call and the league admitted it. Lawson graded well, keeps things in front of him and allows very low yardage. Lawson is a good number 2 cb. Now he battles with tabor. Lawson a fa in 2018 so tabor makes sense

Jason McCourty to Browns for 2 years 6 million. I really didn't think he would be that cheap. Good for the Browns.

Jared Odrick is another DE/DT that is on the market. I want to see what Hyder/Washington and Bryant can do. Ziggy back at 100% is a huge upgrade to the pass rush already.

Revis was awful last year.......another year older isn't going to help him. I'd give him the vet minimum with no guarantees......nothing more.
