Detroit Tigers Minor League Notes

Outfielder Diego Rincones and catcher Julio E. Rodriguez have signed minor-league contracts with the Tigers. Both players spent last season at the Double-A level.
 
Tigers Minor League Pitcher of the Year Wilmer Flores said he battled fatigue at times during the season (he threw career-high 103.1 IP) and is addressing that in his offseason workouts. He's also working on his changeup.
 
The Tigers have claimed catcher Mario Feliciano (second-round pick in 2016) off waivers from the Brewers.

Feliciano, 24, has played three games in his MLB career. He hit .274 with 18 walks and 52 strikeouts in 77 games for Triple-A Nashville last season.

The Tigers have announced the following roster moves:

*Claimed C Mario Feliciano off waivers from Milwaukee.
*Designated OF Bligh Madris for assignment.

Tigers signed RHP Kervin Castro to a minor league deal back on Dec 12. Interesting relief option formerly with Harris and the Giants. Lost some velo last year but has big time extension and ride from a tough angle, with a mirrored fourseam/curve. Only 23. Could be useful.

Tigers hire former Cubs hitting coach Anthony Iapoce as Triple-A Toledo manager, per multiple sources. The agreement has been in place since at least early December.
Maybe Harris signed a 3B back in November and just hasn't told us yet.
