I have to admit, this is pretty surprising. Andre is great, but I didn't expect him to get this level of recognition so early. Jordan and Cousins were pretty obvious choices above him, but that voters left out Duncan (still perhaps the best defensive anchor in the league), Gasol (highly versatile and important to his team), and Horford (again a versatile all-rounder on a good team) was unexpected. Good on voters for recognizing Andre's strengths (and dominance) without focusing on his weakness.
