I'm probably the only man still alive who actually knows the lyrics to that fucking song.

Although Cassidy had been suffering from dementia, so maybe he wouldn't have remembered the lyrics for quite some time himself.

I'm not sure about the lyrics so much but I do know that song though I didn't watch the TV show that often.

I had a preteen crush on Susan Dey for a little while.

David Cassidy and Bobby Sherman were 60s heartthrobs for young girls. I even bought a Monkees LP back when most of my records were still 45s, b/c some of their songs were actually pretty good back then, while my sister bought Partridge Family, Osmond Brothers and Jackson 5 LPs.

RIP David, he was only 6 years older than i, so he died while still being fairly young...:)
