Aka... it's only a qb stat when it proves lkps point for that one minute or drive or day. But never is it a true stat when in contradicts everything lkp says. Which is basically every thread if you get him to talk long enough.

I'd rather see a reverse to GT on 1st down than a 3 yard loss by AA that had no chance of going anywhere, because it was sniffed out by the d before the play was run
It's not the fact we run on 1st.....it's the type of play we run. It seems like we always run plays parallel to the LOS and when it goes bad......then it's 2nd and 15. The percentage of getting a first down drops dramatically in those situations.

You know who we miss this year.....Burton. We need a fullback desperately. Goal line situations as well.

Run 1st down plays that have little to no chance of losing yards. Way way way too many 2nd and long situations.

Then we ran again on 2nd down and lost 4 yards. 3rd and 9. Yippee!!

I heard a stat on Abdullah that he leads the league in percentage of negative rushing plays. I think it was MNF that said 20% of Abdullah rushes resulted in negative yardage. That seems crazy to have a starting RB lose yards on every 5th play.

You keep changing your complaint to try and make a point, it's not working.

But we get it, when plays work it's a good call, when plays don't work it's a bad call.
I just don't see why the coaches don't only call plays that work all the time. I mean if you just get rid of all the bad plays, it would be hard to lose. Simple.

A lot of plays have deep routes that could work from Cooter. They need to be executed. Many times the short stuff is the right choice too especially with Golden Tate and Theo Riddick on the team coupled with an injured Oline.

There it is, get rid of the plays with the lowest success rate. I just hate the run game, period. They stick with the run game even when its not working. Get Abdullah more involved in the passing game. He accells in space, get him the ball in space. Maybe there aren't enough balls to go around, idk. I know its been mentioned, but why not throw riddick and abdullah in the backfield at the same time? Has it been done this season?

Yeah, I can't stand the run game either. And the plays the Lions do run are always sweeps, which are honestly the worst type of run in professional football. NEVER go left to right, the athletes are much too fast and blocks take too long to develop.

I just don't think it's any mystery that when the Lions spread and throw, it works. When they try and establish some run identity, it fails.

Stafford mic'd up for Browns game. Great stuff. Think I like the version on the Lions site a bit better, just because he basically predicted the Ebron TD
