~$52MM available

They’ll likely commit some of that to re-signing impending FAs:

Notable UFAs
Ansah
Ngata
Whitehead
Hayden
Prater (extended through 2020)
Carey
Wilson
Worrilow
Muhlbach
Fells
Swanson
Lawson
Bellore

Notable RFAs/ERFAs
TJ Jones
Kerin
Copeland
Hyder
Zenner
Rudock

I believe Prater was already extended. on that list, Whitehead, Lawson and Wilson are the only ones that are priority. Hyder as an RFA. I like TJ Jones as a number 4 WR, but I can understand losing him if somebody else wants to pay him as a number three.

I thought that was off, guess overthecap is wrong or hasn’t updated in a while.

Lions actually have ~42MM in space for 2018

Lawson, Hayden, TJ Jones, and Whitehead. No reason to not resign these guys even if they are just depth. I think Whitehead will price himself out of us resigning him though.

If Hayden didn't play another snap for us I'd be ok with that.

Whitehead is a GREAT 2-down linebacker.....average in coverage but he shouldn't be put in that situation much.

I agree with TJ and Lawson. Lawson would be a great nickel. Hopefully Tabor gets his head out of his ass and takes over the #2 next year. A backfield of Slay, Tabor, Lawson and Diggs would be great.

Wilson and TJ would be great depth players.
