Play calling is absolutely laughable. Keep playing conservative, that always works!

I don't know, this OL is awful. Play calling could be better but it's the players, not the plays.
 
well, that first quarter was a nice head fake. can't run against NW and the defense can't get off the field and we're trailing NW at home at half - not good. Even worse when you consider half our points are from a pick six.

No doubt, zero surge on damn near every run. It seems like Lewerke has a decent amount of time, but he's either missing guys or the WRs can't get open.

Shelton needs to just let that bounce into end zone every time. Our special teams are truly special

why is O'Connor warming up? Does Dantonio wants to kill lewerke's confidence? Give him a half then go back to a guy who has done nothing for 5 weeks. Smart move.
 
Defense is on the field way too much. So many problems
 
yeah, it doesn't matter - just mess with the young QB's psyche and go with a guy who hasn't gotten any better over 5 starts. what harm can that do?

Makes absolutely no sense. O'Connor will not make any throw that Lewerke will not either. PLUS Lewerke is 10 times the athlete, but what do I know?
