I predict they will hire someone at least as terrible as he was, if not more. (EDIT: According to the Tribune, they named OC Bill Cubit HC. That's not too terrible of a decision... surprisingly. He was decent at WMU for a while.)
Don't get me wrong - Beckman sucked - but how incompetent is it to fire your coach a week before the season because of the results of an investigation? Schedule the investigation for earlier, and get on that.
The alllegations came out, hilariously via twitter rant, in May. Should've been completed no later than June.
