Red Wings 2 Maple Leafs 1 ot Final

The local Toronto media and booth people are scratching their heads over Babcock's line ups and personnel match-ups.

1-1 going to overtime.. Wings give up another goal when team pulls goalie in the last minutes.. Some bad luck clearing the puck.. Again getting really outshot again in regulation..

Goal!!!!!!

Kindl walks in right in 3 on 3 and beats the goalie!!!!

Currently watching this game. I watched the 3rd period and the Wings were totally disorganized. When on power play, (multiple times) the Wings allowed the Leafs to possess the puck for short periods. They could not keep the puck. Then near the end of the 3rd, the Leafs pulled their goalie and then lucky to get a goal with nearly 1 minute left. The puck bounced backward off the knob of Mrazek's goalie stick, into the goal. Then the Wings won in overtime!!! Goal by Kindl.

I am hoping this is simply due to the coaching transition, but it's becoming rather worrying that the Wings have become one of the worst possession teams in the league so far this season.

This is a complete change both from last year (one of the best) and Blashill's tenure with the Griffons (one of the best).

The Red Wings are 18th in the league in power play % , (8 PPG for 45 opportunities) They are 30th in the league in total shots on goal (330 shots in 13 games) They are 22nd in the league in goals (32 goals-for in 13 games)
