I didn't know. My Latin is not so good... make that non-existant. And, of course, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find old Romans to talk to.

it's cute when buckeyes remember that Ohio State is also a University, not just a football mill, and try to be all intellectual, looking up the scientific term of a rival's mascot and learning what it means.

I'm a 58 year old fan. Happy to settle for football mill. But for the record, the University is nothing to sneeze at either. Not yet in Michigan's league, mind you, but trending.
