I don't get it. 1st pitch swinging at something outside of the strike zone against a pitcher that just came in is not a coherent strategy.
 
5.50 era guy and first 2 batters swing at first pitch and make outs. After bunt single
Miggy is not even close in his at bat :/
 
No game plan, just flailing. I have to wonder if anyone got up and got ready for the game this morning.

You can't tell me McGhee wouldn't give you a better at bat than the over aggressive rookie, these are all must win games brad.
 
He had the one good at bat where he worked the count full then should have taken a walk but couldn't hold up. I agree I think.
 
Man that stadium is empty and eerily quiet.....kinda like most of the Tigers' bats and Brad's head.
