West michigan 91-45 overall. First half 45-22. Second half 46-23
Dayton 71-69 overall. First half 41-29. Second half 30-40.


Playing Dayton in the best 2 put of 3 games . Game one in Dayton and the next 2 games are in west Michigan.

Isn't there some minor league's that aren't broken into 2 halves? I rather have that.. So teams like South Bend, 2nd best overall record in the Eastern league, doesn't get left out.
 
Caps losing 1-0 at home on a cold field going into top of the 7th. Only 3 hits and like all season Dayton pitching appears to have WM's number. Need some late inning heroics again tonight or we are going to winner take all game three.
 
One, two, three .. caps batting down 1-0 in bottom of the 7th.

Just like that caps are out of the inning 123.

Trouble .. Dayton have runners on first and second 1 out of the 8th.

Damn it 2 out rbi hit with last runner cut down at the plate .

First and second with 2 outs leads to nothing as West Michigan just can't get anything going. 2-0 heading to the ninth. Had a chance with a full count and runners running but batter bounced to first basemen.
 
Wm pitcher k's the side in the 9th. Two to tie and three to win !!
 
1 out double then 0-2 count batter walked. Pitcher throws to first and no one there 2nd and 3rd 1 out. Ground out to shortstop scores one, 2-1 with two outs and a runner on second. Pitching change .



BTW
West Michigan whitecap pitchers have 19 strikeouts !!!

Caps Lose GAME Two 2-1. Series tied 1-1. Cap batters have gone real cold last two weeks. Winner take all at 7pm tomorrow when I will be at football game.

Strikeout 19 Dragon batters and can't win. Well to be fair Caps struck out a bunch tonight also.
 
Typical Tiger team can't hit. Losing 2-1 top of he 9th. Had bases loaded twice and could only muster 1 run. Hitting coach was kicked out arguing balls and strikes
Hope they can rally in the 9th.
