The Cavs have picks 33 and 34 in the second in the 2012 draft and instead of taking Geen they pick Bernard James and Jae Crowder. I am sure there is alot more to it then just picking then players because there were trades involved. Maybe someone can fill us in. You would think Gilbert would like Green be a Msu grad ?

Actually, they didn't even get Jae Crowder (who turned out to be a steal himself). They traded him to Dallas, ending up with Tyler Zeller. With two shots at the alma mater star, they blew it, and compounded that by getting rid of the one good player they had drafted.

This is the same draft, btw, where they drafted Dion Frickin' Waiters 4th overall. If they hadn't lucked out having LeBron born in their backyard, they would have been terrible forever.
