He is a shutdown guy.


5 on 5, I dare you to find 3 goals where he got beat since January 1.



He dosen't turnover the puck in his own end like Smith, DeKeyser, Ericsson, and Green. He dosen't get beat 1 on 1 by every player like De Keyser and Ericsson.

Sure he dosen't put up points, but defensively, he is way above the rest of the team.
 
Marchenko finished 3rd game for Leafs.

50 minutes played over first 3 games and still 0 goals against with him on.
