In the history of NBA, not every game finished within the regulation time, some went into the overtime periods as well. It,s not a surprise anymore when a game goes into the double-overtimes and triple overtime as it happends frequently. The games which end in more than three ovetimes are still quite rare. Six overtime periods are the most played in a single NBA game. There have been one 6-overtime game, two 5-overtime games and nine 4-overtime games in the league’s history and all these games are listed below.
